Temporary break in statistical series for loans to businesses. The NBB is currently working on new statistics on loans to businesses, broken down by size category, activity and Region on the basis of amended granular data. In the meantime, the current data series not being added to any further. Back data up to 30/11/2021 inclusive are still available via the usual channels. The statistical series for loans to private individuals remain unchanged until 31/12/2023.

New definitions for non-financial and financial corporations in accordance with the new ESA2010 methodology and reclassifications of institutional units in the government sector following a recommendation by Eurostat have caused important changes in the outstanding amounts in December 2014.
